Office/Accounting Assistant

Summary: We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Office/Accounting Assistant to support daily operations at our Electrical Contracting Company. This full-time, in-person role includes administrative support, payroll processing, and invoicing. Ideal candidates will have mid-level experience and a strong background in business administration and accounting. Job Responsibilities: Manage and oversee daily office operations Prepare and process invoices using QuickBooks Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Process weekly payroll, including Certified Payroll Order and maintain office supplies and inventory Perform other related duties as assigned Skills & Abilities: Experience with QuickBooks and Paychex (Preferred) Exceptional organizational and time management skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Education & Experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred Experience in office administration or a related administrative role Background in accounting responsibilities within the electrical/construction field helpful Pay: Compensation based on experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Work Location: In person
