This role supports network availability, security, performance, and scalability across data center, campus, cloud-connected, and remote-access environments.\r\nThe ideal candidate\r\nThe ideal candidate has strong routing, switching, firewall and automation experience, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues, document solutions, and work with security, infrastructure, cloud, and service desk teams.\r\nLocation\r\nThis position is located at our Dublin, OH campus with hybrid flexibility.\r\nWhat you'll do (Essential Responsibilities)\r\nDesign, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Arista switches in campus and data center environments.\r\nSupport spine-leaf network architecture, including leaf/spine connectivity, MLAG, VLANs, VRFs, routing, and high-availability designs.\r\nManage network infrastructure using Arista CloudVision, including configuration compliance, change control, image upgrades, telemetry, and network visibility.\r\nConfigure and support Palo Alto firewalls, including security policies, NAT, App-ID, User-ID, URL filtering, threat prevention, VPN, and logging.\r\nManage firewall policy and configuration using Palo Alto Strata Cloud Manager.\r\nTroubleshoot network connectivity issues across switching, routing, firewall, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and application traffic flows.\r\nSupport BGP, OSPF, static routing, route filtering, redistribution, and network failover designs.\r\nAssist with firewall migrations, policy cleanups, network segmentation, and data center connectivity projects.\r\nMonitor network health, performance, and availability using CloudVision, firewall logs, and other monitoring platforms.\r\nDevelop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, standards, implementation plans, and operational procedures.\r\nParticipate in change management processes, including risk analysis, backout planning, implementation steps, and post-change validation.\r\nWork with vendors and support teams to resolve hardware, software, circuit, and platform-related issues.\r\nSupport incident response by isolating whether issues are network, firewall, endpoint, application, or authentication related.\r\nProvide escalation support for service desk and infrastructure teams.\r\nAll other duties as assigned.\r\nWhat you'll bring (Qualifications)\r\nExperience: 3+ years of hands-on network engineering experience preferred.\r\nHands-on experience with Arista EOS switching.\r\nExperience supporting spine-leaf data center architecture.\r\nExperience with Arista CloudVision for network management, compliance, telemetry, and change control.\r\nStrong knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking concepts, including VLANs, VXLAN/EVPN, MLAG, STP, VRFs, BGP, OSPF, static routing, route maps, prefix lists, and ACLs.\r\nExperience configuring and troubleshooting Palo Alto firewalls.\r\nExperience with Palo Alto security features, including security policy, NAT policy, App-ID, User-ID, URL filtering, threat prevention, GlobalProtect VPN, IPsec VPN, logging, and traffic analysis.\r\nExperience using Palo Alto Strata Cloud Manager or Panorama to manage firewall policies and configurations.\r\nStrong troubleshooting skills using packet captures, logs, routing tables, session tables, and CLI commands.\r\nAbility to document network designs, standards, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.\r\nExperience participating in enterprise change management processes.\r\nStrong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to platforms.\r\nExperience with network automation or scripting using Python, Ansible, or APIs.\r\nExperience with monitoring tools such as CloudVision, LibreNMS, Grafana, PRTG, or similar platforms.\r\nExperience with data center migrations, firewall migrations, or network modernization projects.\r\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, SAML, and certificate-based authentication.\r\nFamiliarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.\r\nIndustry certifications such as Palo Alto PCNSA or PCNSE, Arista ACE, CCNA, CCNP, Network+, or
