This is a permanent role by way of 6+ month contract-to-hirePosition Responsibilities Design and execute test plans, automation, and defect tracking for ELT/ETL pipelines, payer data, APIs, and reporting measures. Develop and implement QA automation frameworks for Databricks, ADF, and CI/CD workflows using Great Expectations. Embed automated quality checks, schema validation, and reconciliation logic across data pipelines and deployments. Collaborate with engineering and governance teams to ensure end-to-end data quality, leveraging PySpark, SQL, and Python. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and industry standards, documenting QA processes and delivering audit-ready evidence.Required SkillsExperience building data pipelinesRecent hands-on databricks is a must.Data QA experience 7+ years of experience in data QA/testing Deep expertise in Azure Databricks (Delta Lake, Delta Live Tables, Unity Catalog). Practical experience with Azure Data Factory (pipelines, monitoring, CI/CD). Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL for test automation. Working knowledge of Great Expectations, Azure DevOps, and Collibra. Solid understanding of data governance, PII compliance, and data quality frameworks. Background in CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-based data platforms. Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.Bonus SkillsHealthcare experience is a must - please list healthcare companies worked for in submittal. Experience with HL7/FHIR data models beyond payer-specific scenarios. Knowledge of Lakehouse architecture and medallion design patterns. Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) for validating reporting layer data. Understanding of data governance platforms such as Collibra. Expertise in automation frameworks for data QA and pipeline regression testing.
