Restaurant Manager

Position Overview Jasmine Thai & Sushi is seeking an experienced, hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations in a full-service dining environment. This role is ideal for a motivated leader who values hospitality, team development, and operational excellence. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing front-of-house operations while maintaining strong awareness and support of back-of-house execution. This position plays a key role in creating a welcoming, high-performing environment for both guests and employees. Schedule & Availability Requirements Full availability required (lunch and dinner shifts) Average 45 hours per week Open-to-close shifts required: Sunday and Monday Scheduled days off: Wednesday and Thursday Variable shifts on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday (including weekend dinner service) Restaurant hours: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM (no late-night operations) Key Responsibilities Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency Lead and manage front-of-house team scheduling and performance Maintain high standards of guest service and resolve concerns promptly Support and collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow Conduct inventory counts and manage ordering, including alcohol (beer, wine, liquor) Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations Maintain accurate employee records and documentation Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment Train, coach, and develop staff to meet performance expectations Work alongside other managers during peak service periods Uphold company standards, policies, and procedures Qualifications Minimum 1 year of management experience in a full-service restaurant Experience managing both FOH and BOH operations preferred Strong knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor service Proven leadership and team-building skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities High level of organization and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure Commitment to creating a positive and professional workplace culture Compensation & Benefits Salary: $52,000–$62,000 annually (based on experience) Health, dental, and vision insurance available after 90 days 5 PTO days annually (eligible after 90 days) 1 week paid vacation after 1 year of employment What We’re Looking For We are looking for leaders who are: Honest, dependable, and professional Guest-focused with a strong sense of hospitality Positive and team-driven Willing to go above and beyond to support both guests and staff Committed to building long-term relationships with customers and employees Work Environment & Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Frequent bending, reaching, and movement throughout the restaurant Exposure to typical restaurant conditions including heat, noise, and busy environments Equal Opportunity & Legal Disclaimer Jasmine Thai & Sushi is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, or any other protected status under applicable federal, state, or local laws.
