In this role, you will be responsible for building upon existing software solutions to develop basic software for Garmin products and/or applications.\nResponsibilities:\nEssential Functions\nMaintain and improve existing cloud infrastructure in AWS, including EC2, EKS, networking, and storage components\nBuild upon existing CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and/or GitHub\nMaintain Kubernetes workloads, including deployments, scaling, and resource utilization\nDevelop automation tools using Python, Java, Bash and Go\nMaintain and improve existing software engineering tools\nParticipate in incident response, root cause analysis, and postmoretm processes\nQualifications:\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Math, Physics or related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience\nExcellent academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 as a general rule)\nDemonstrated knowledge, education, experience and/or training necessary to develop basic software in C, C++, C#, Java, assembly language, or other selected languages\nDesired Qualifications\nOutstanding academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.5)\nExperience operation production workloads in Kubernetes\nExperience with Public Cloud Providers (e.g. AWS)\nThe deadline to apply to this role is Friday, April 10th.\n\nGarmin International is an equal opportunity employer.
