This is a night shift role where most of the work happens when things are quieter, but that is when attention tends to matter the most.You will be moving around the property regularly, checking different areas and making sure everything stays in order. There is also some interaction with tenants or late night visitors, so being approachable while staying professional is part of the job.No two nights feel exactly the same some are routine, others require a bit more awareness but the expectation stays consistent: stay present, notice what is going on, and handle situations as they come up.Key ResponsibilitiesWalk the property, including storefronts and surrounding areas, to make sure everything looks as it shouldKeep an eye out for unusual activity, safety concerns, or unauthorized accessAssist tenants, customers, or staff when needed in a respectful and straightforward wayRespond to issues as they come up and follow site guidelines when taking actionStay visible throughout the night to help discourage theft or damageWrite down daily activity and any incidents clearly so there is a record of eventsStay in touch with supervisors or site contacts if something needs to be reportedRequired QualificationsMust be at least 18 years oldActive Guard CardAble to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writingComfortable being on your feet for extended periodsAble to stay alert during overnight hoursDependable when it comes to showing up and being on timePreferred QualificationsPrevious security experience (around 2 years or more)Time spent working in retail or other public-facing environmentsFamiliarity with patrol work and basic report writingAdditional InformationA mix of indoor and outdoor patrol depending on the areaRegular walking throughout the shiftInteraction with tenants, staff, and occasional visitorsOvernight hours that require consistent focusWhy Work With Citadel Security USASteady overnight schedule with full-time hoursClear expectations and structured site coverageSupport from supervisors and operations teamOpportunity to grow with continued assignmentsEqual Opportunity EmployerCitadel Security USA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
