We provide quality resources in four specialty areas: Information Technology (IT), Clinical Research, Rehabilitation Therapy and Nursing.\r\nJob Description Title: Monitoring Analyst\r\nLocation: Newark, DE\r\nDuration: 6 Months\r\nJob Description\r\nMain Responsibilities\r\n\r\nHigh School Diploma with 7+ years' experience.\r\nLeads a team of computer operators.\r\nOperates one or more computer systems, enters more complex commands on computer and peripheral equipment to execute job production applications and resolve equipment failures.\r\nUnder limited supervision, performs a wide range of tasks of varying complexity.\r\nResolves a broad range of difficult operating problems.\r\nPerforms more complex daily, weekly or nightly backups on systems to maintain production.\r\nMaintains audit trail of job activities and status to document productivity.\r\nMaintains more comprehensive quality records to ensure standards are met.\r\nResearches peripheral equipment and error messages displayed on monitor to detect faulty output or machine stoppage.\r\nTests, evaluates and resolves more complex equipment problems/system outages and escalates issues as necessary to maintain job production.\r\nMonitors customer data file restores ensuring that data are current and accurate.\r\nAssists workers in classifying, cataloging and maintaining tapes to oversee and maintain computer operations.\r\n\r\nAdditional Skills\r\n\r\n3+ years of Remedy, USD, Netbackup, Brightstor, TSM, BackupExec, Omniback\r\nWill monitoring backups across multiple backup interfaces (Netbackup, BackupExec, Brightstor, TSM, Omniback).\r\nRespond to all backup failures, device failures, tape issues, and restores reported to the backup monitoring tools: Admin Console, DPQM, SMARTS, etc.\r\nDiagnose and troubleshoot backup and device failures, attempt resolution in accordance with documented standard operating procedures and troubleshooting guides.\r\nQualifications • High School Diploma with 7+ years' experience\r\nIf you are not interested in looking at new opportunities at this time I fully understand.
