{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"c58a13c824822a3f48d52bd3","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/c58a13c824822a3f48d52bd3","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/c58a13c824822a3f48d52bd3","title":"Program Manager","description":"Overview:\nPROGRAM MANAGER (BGEM):\n\nBowhead seeks a Program Manager for an upcoming Navy proposal effort PAE Maritime GEM in Washington, D.C.\nResponsibilities:\nEssential Functions include but are not limited to:\nEnsures that all required resources such as engineering, manpower, production, computer time, facilities and the like are available for the program.\nPlans, directs and monitors program budget and serves as primary customer contact for program information.\nMay be responsible for business development within current customer base and/or for new customers.\nMay be responsible for programs of a lesser dollar value if they are more complex or developmental in nature.\nProgram complexity is the primary criteria for leveling, and dollar value of programs is secondary.\nOther Duties as assigned\nQualifications:\nA Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering scientific, business, or technical discipline.\nPMP certification required.\nFifteen (15) years professional experience in program/project management in DOD acquisition; or Fifteen (15) years professional experience in program/project management in Navy acquisition\nFive (5) years of Supervisory experience; experience communicating with SES/Flag level personnel\nExperience with DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); Naval Science and Technology (S&T) Strategies and Future Naval Capabilities (FNC) programs; Foreign Military Sales highly desired\nMust be able to multi-task, manage priorities and work independently with little direction.\nAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.\nStrong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.\nTargeted salary range is 140,000/annually to 180,000/annually based on qualifications and experience.\n\nPhysical Demands\nMust be able to lift 25 pounds on occasion.\nMust be able to stand and walk for prolonged period amounts of time.\nMust be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically.\nSECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level.
