They need someone that can be hands-on and in the weeds with the ability to build out a roadmap and streamline processes. Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for the plant.Cost Control: Monitor costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control processes and reconcile physical inventories with financial records.Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and company financial regulations and policies.Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and business planning.Internal Controls: Develop and implement effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial reporting.Audit Support: Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and responses to auditor inquiries.Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the plant finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and professional development. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.Experience with POC accounting/construction space Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
