This position is responsible for building, managing, and automating AWS infrastructure, while contributing to ongoing technical research and innovation. The DevOps Engineer will collaborate closely with engineering teams, with a strong focus on AWS infrastructure, automation, and continuous improvement.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nSupport SG360° users and production systems to ensure continuous, efficient, and reliable operations.\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain software applications and tools that meet defined specifications.\nWrite, debug, and enhance code using Agile development methodologies.\nParticipate in design, architecture, and build phases to deliver high-quality technical solutions in collaboration with engineering and architecture teams.\nAnalyze problems of moderate scope, exercising judgment within established procedures to determine appropriate actions.\nBuild and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners.\nWork independently on routine tasks with general supervision, escalating complex or non-routine issues as needed.\nProactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues, implementing both immediate fixes and long-term solutions.\nCommunicate effectively by gathering, documenting, and sharing relevant technical and project information with stakeholders.\nDeploy, automate, manage, and maintain AWS cloud-based production systems.\nEnsure system availability, performance, scalability, and security across AWS environments.\nManage system creation, configuration, and release processes.\nPerform system troubleshooting and resolve issues across multiple platforms and application domains.\nSupport pre-production testing and quality assurance processes.\nImplement monitoring, logging, and metrics solutions within AWS.\nApply cloud security best practices to safeguard systems and data.\nTechnical Environment\nUtilize AWS services including ECS, EC2, ECR, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, SQS, and Kubernetes.\nWork with modern development and DevOps tools and methodologies.\nSupport and maintain multi-tier architectures, including load balancers, caching layers, web/application servers, and databases.\nLeverage virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V and VMware.\nSupport cloud-based platforms including Office 365 and related services.\nRequirements:\nSkills and Qualifications\nExperience developing code in at least one high-level programming language (Java preferred).\nStrong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).\nWorking knowledge of cloud computing and DevOps principles and practices.\nAbility to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced production environment.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nCustomer-focused mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.\nClear and effective written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong time management skills with the ability to work both independently and within a team.\nEducation and Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field required.\nExperience creating automated scripts and software solutions preferred.\nWillingness to sign a confidentiality agreement and protect company trade secrets.\nTravel:\nMinimal local travel may be required for meetings, trainings, and/or other business purposes\nImportant information:\nsg360° does not offer employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
