This team member will be the Technical Lead for all customization projects, and they will provide technical expertise and mentorship for the team that supports this rapidly growing product line.\nResponsibilities Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of specific product line(s), product applications, competition, and markets.\nServe as primary technical contact to sales, marketing, operations, and others as required for in‑service product support.\nWork with Application Engineers, Product Managers, other Product Engineers, and Manufacturing personnel to develop customized recloser controls solutions to meet customer needs.\nValidate product requirements, functionality, and features.\nApprove new custom product developments and associated documentation.\nServe as interface between Manufacturing and R&D groups for product development.\nParticipate in industry technical meetings and conferences.\nPrepare and present technical product presentations.\nMaintain an end user system operational understanding of how specific technology families are used and have a clear understanding of the functional priority.\nAssist with developing and creating concept documents or drawings associated with new product ideas to be developed.\nProvide product line training to Field Application Engineers.\nDrive process improvement projects as assigned.\nQualifications B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering\n6+ years of experience and working knowledge of electrical power systems or industrial system integration and automation practices and philosophies\n4+ years of technical marketing experience\nExcellent technical and marketing presentation skills\nKnowledge of product life cycle planning and marketing position\nWilling to travel up to 25%\nStrong writing, documentation, and speaking skills\nAbility to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities\nAbility to work cooperatively in a team environment\nPreferred Qualifications Project management and/or project technical leadership\nExperience with electric utility relay and telecommunications\nSpecifying graphical user interface location\nLocation Pullman, WA - This position is located in Pullman, WA.\nBoise, ID - This position is located in Boise, ID.\nCompensation Data We anticipate filling this position as a Lead Product Engineer $115,290 - $170,349 per year. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location.
