(V&EG) a Pinnaql company is a leading services supplier who provides solutions for the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Chemical, Food, and Medical Devices industries in the following areas: Laboratory, Compliance, Computer, Engineering, Project Management, Validation, and other services.\n\nWe are seeking a talented, dedicated individual committed to work under the highest ethics standards for the following position:\n\nConstruction Project Manager\n\nWe are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to support the construction, commissioning, startup, and handover of a cogeneration project within a regulated manufacturing environment.\n\nThe selected professional will lead project execution across the Energy Building and Gas Station scope, coordinating contractors, engineering, operations, vendors, cost, schedule, procurement, safety, quality, and project documentation through completion.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nProject Management & Execution\n\nLead construction activities for the cogeneration plant, including the Energy Building and Gas Station scope.\nManage execution from design through construction, commissioning, and startup.\nServe as the primary point of contact for project managers, construction managers, contractors, vendors, and key stakeholders.\nCoordinate activities across contractors, engineering, operations, and vendors.\n\nBudget & Cost Control\n\nPrepare project cost estimates and monthly/annual cash-flow forecasts.\nTrack project costs, commitments, and construction activities.\nProvide cost analysis and justification for change orders.\nSupport capital funding requests and Request for Approval (RFA) documentation.\n\nScheduling & Reporting\n\nDevelop, own, and maintain the project Gantt schedule.\nProvide monthly schedule updates and project progress reporting.\nIdentify schedule risks and implement recovery plans when required.\n\nContractor & Procurement Management\n\nManage contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and schedule requirements.\nManage construction teams with 30+ onsite personnel.\nCoordinate formal bidding processes and procurement documentation.\nParticipate in contractor bid evaluations and RFP reviews.\nCoordinate purchase requests, PO follow-up, and equipment tracking.\n\nTechnical & Quality Leadership\n\nIdentify technical issues and lead corrective-action discussions with stakeholders.\nChallenge design ambiguities, constructability concerns, and quality issues.\nParticipate in the evaluation of engineering alternatives and recommend solutions.\nLead Request for Information (RFI) processes with contractors and project stakeholders.\n\nSafety & Compliance\n\nEnsure safety remains the highest priority across all construction activities.\nEnforce compliance with site Environmental, Safety, Security, and Quality requirements.\nEnsure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).\nUpload and maintain required documentation within the ETQ Management of Change (MOC) system.\n\nCommissioning, Startup & Handover\n\nLead or support Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q) activities.\nSupport startup, turnover, and operational-readiness activities.\nDrive project completion and handover to the Utilities team.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.\n10+ years of industrial construction project management experience.\nProven experience with utilities, energy infrastructure, or cogeneration projects.\nExperience managing contractors and construction teams with 30+ onsite personnel.\nStrong knowledge of construction safety standards, compliance, and quality systems.\nExperience leading capital projects from design through commissioning and startup.\nProficiency with project scheduling tools and Gantt chart management.\nExperience managing budgets, change orders, procurement, and contractor coordination.\nStrong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.\nExperience within regulated industrial environments preferred.\n\nIdeal Profile\n\nA senior, hands-on Construction Project Manager with strong field leadership experience who can independently manage contractors, cost, schedule, procurement, safety, technical issues, commissioning, startup, and final project turnover.\n\nAt Validation & Engineering Group, people always come first.
