The HSE Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance of our operations. This position requires a strong understanding of HSE regulations, excellent analytical skills, ability to develop training materials, and to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.\r\nCore Duties / Key Responsibilities\r\nAssist in development and implementing HSE policies, procedures, and training programs to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.\r\nIdentify and implement improvements to existing processes to increase efficiency, productivity, and performance.\r\nDevelop training materials, applications, and educational opportunities tailored for both Operational Leadership and front-line employees.\r\nAnalyzed data related to incidents, near misses, and Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA) performance to identify trends and areas for improvement.\r\nCollaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with relevant HSE regulations and standards.\r\nParticipate in incident investigations and root cause analyses to prevent recurrence.\r\nPrepare reports and presentations on HSE performance for management and regulatory agencies as required.\r\nProvide HSE support and guidance to project teams and operational staff. Consolidate data from various sources, including but not limited to Cority, Qlik, and various fleet safety systems such as LYTX.\r\nCoordinate audit cadences and inspections to produce consistency in data for potential health, safety, and environmental hazards.\r\nWork with key stakeholders to analyze, define, and document reporting needs.\r\nCreate reports, summaries, presentations, and process documents to display results.\r\nCollaborate with other team members to effectively analyze and present data.\r\nManage reporting requirements and requests from within the company.\r\nProduce ad hoc data analyses that answer pivotal questions about the business from a risk and safety perspective.\r\nOther additional and/or alternate duties as assigned from time-to-time; including supporting other departments or executives as needed.\r\nPosition Qualifications\r\nExperience/Education\r\nRequired Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred\r\nFields of Study Preferred: Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Data Science, or a related field\r\nSupplemental Experience: 3+ years in Data Analysis, Project Management, or Occupational Health and Safety\r\nRequired Knowledge/Skills/Abilities\r\nMicrosoft Applications: Proficient functionality in Microsoft Suite\r\nAdditional Technology: Excellent computer literacy and application\r\nTravel: Up to 10%\r\nCommunication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required\r\nAdditional Requirements\r\nStrong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards, including OSHA, EPA, and other relevant agencies.\r\nExcellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.\r\nEffective communications skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.\r\nProven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.\r\nSomeone who exhibits sound judgement with the ability to prioritize and understands when to elevate and when to make decisions.\r\nComfortable interacting with high-level executives.\r\nExceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.\r\nTake responsibility regarding all aspects of daily tasks and actions.\r\nMust be an exceptional multi-tasker and incredibly well organized.\r\nWorking knowledge of office equipment.\r\nThorough understanding of office management procedures.\r\nAnalytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving.\r\nEnsure all daily work is completed in a timely and accurate manner.\r\nMust be dependable with a stable work history.\r\nAbility to flourish with minimal guidance, be a proactive initiator.\r\nAbility to maintain stability under pressure and be flexible and willing to modify plans and behavior when necessary.\r\nAbility to be a positive representative of the Company both internally and externally.\r\nAbility to work with respect and cooperation at all times with fellow employees and customers.
