Manufacture traffic control metal components and enclosures using various processes including cutting, punching, deburring, and bending equipment.MoboTrex has an opportunity to join our growing organization as a full-time Planner / Scheduler at at our location in Pflugerville, TX. Must be able to work Mon-Fri 7am - 3:30 pm. MoboTrex offers a positive culture where no matter an employee’s position in the company, everyone’s unique expertise contributes to our success.The Planner/Scheduler is responsible for analyzing demand, planning production schedules, and coordinating material flow to support on-time customer delivery. This role partners closely with Production, Engineering, and Purchasing to maintain accurate schedules, manage shortages, and ensure inventory integrity across assigned areas.The Planner/Scheduler plays a critical role in balancing capacity, labor loading, and material availability while supporting continuous improvement within manufacturing operationsRequirementsEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain detailed production schedules aligned to customer demand and delivery requirementsPlan, schedule, coordinate, and monitor products through the complete production cycleAnalyze MRP outputs and adjust work orders as necessary to align with master production plansReview engineering plans, bills of materials (BOMs), and production specifications to establish labor and capacity requirementsRead, interpret, and execute Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) in a timely and accurate mannerManage and communicate material shortages; act as liaison between Operations and PurchasingMonitor inventory levels and coordinate material replenishment to prevent production delaysValidate shop floor progress and adjust schedules as needed to support workflow continuityRecommend revisions to production schedules when constraints ariseAssist with automation and improvement of manual reporting processesServe as backup for other Planner/Scheduler positions as neededSupport continuous improvement and ERP system optimization initiativesPerform other duties as assignedEducation & ExperienceMinimum Qualifications:Associate degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field ORHigh School Diploma/GED with 5–7 years of progressive experience in production planning within a manufacturing environmentPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field3–5+ years of experience in production planning or master schedulingExperience in ERP/MRP systems within a discrete manufacturing environmentKnowledge, Skills & CompetenciesStrong understanding of manufacturing processes and capacity planningAdvanced working knowledge of MRP/ERP systemsSolid understanding of master scheduling and forecasting principlesAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, multi-sheet linking)Ability to analyze data and translate findings into actionable production plansStrong cross-functional communication skillsAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentWillingness to engage directly with shop floor personnel to validate schedulesHigh attention to detail and organizational skillsPhysical Demands & Work EnvironmentRegularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands repetitivelyOccasionally lift up to 35 lbs.May require bending, stooping, and reachingCombination of office and manufacturing floor environmentSpecific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
