Kratos has an exciting opportunity for a Software/Product Developer for our Lanham, Maryland office who is responsible for performing software development for a satellite command and control software product as well as performing project engineering support.\n\nPrimary functions:\n\nDevelop robust real-time software for a 24/7 operation system\nPerform maintenance and bug fixes on software product\nAnalyze customer requirements to identify unmet requirements\nDesign and develop COTS product enhancements as required\nSupport of both internal and external users of satellite command and control product\n\nExperience and Skills:\nExperience coding in C++ with multi-threaded and realtime applications\nExperience developing in a Linux environment\nKnowledge of at least one software development lifecycle model\n\nPreferred Skills and Experience\n\nExperience with SQL databases\nExperience with Java\nExperience with a configuration management system such as Git or Subversion\nExperience with CORBA or REST inter-process communication\nExperience with development management or release management of a product\nExperience with satellite command and control systems is a major plus, but not expected\n\n#LI-Hybrid\n\nCompetitive salary based on experience and education\n\nKratos is valued for our ability to design and deliver leading edge, resilient solutions for aerospace communication, control, awareness and mission success across a continuum of offerings-from commercial to tailored custom solutions and integrated programs.
