Pre-Sales Data Scientist

A company is looking for a Pre-Sales Data Scientist to support insurance clients in leveraging AI-driven data for pricing and underwriting workflows. Key Responsibilities Work closely with prospects and customers to understand their data needs and desired outcomes Develop and enhance the proof of concept process to align on requirements, outcomes, and success criteria Serve as a technical liaison to actuaries and pricing teams, supporting their integration and use of data in various workflows Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in P&C insurance in data science, actuarial, or pricing analytics roles Deep understanding of rating, underwriting, claims, and portfolio management within the insurance sector Experience designing and executing retrospective testing studies Strong grasp of data science fundamentals and experience with SQL, APIs, and Python Experience with traditional actuarial methods and machine learning models for insurance applications
