Company DescriptionHigh Point Gymnastics Academy provides recreational and competitive gymnastics classes for boys and girls starting at 18 months of age. Our program includes a variety of options such as homeschool and tumbling classes, with team programs up to USAG level 10 creating a well-rounded gymnastics experience for our students. We are passionate about fostering a positive and safe environment where children can grow and develop their skills. Our academy is located in High Point, NC, and we are committed to promoting physical fitness and confidence in young athletes.Role DescriptionThis is a part-time, on-site role for a Gymnastics Team Coach located in High Point, NC. The Gymnastics Team Coach will be responsible for coaching team athletes within our current structure! The role also includes teaching advanced gymnastics and tumbling techniques, encouraging team development, and fostering a positive and supportive training environment. Additional responsibilities involve maintaining communication with team members, and staff to achieve shared goals.QualificationsProficiency in Gymnastics and Tumbling, with the ability to teach a range of skill levelsDemonstrated Coaching and Sports Coaching experience, ideally in competitive settingsStrong Communication skills to effectively interact with athletes, parents, and colleaguesCommitment to maintaining a safe and encouraging training environmentPrevious experience with competitive gymnastics programs is advantageousRelevant coaching certifications are a plusAbility to work collaboratively with a team and adapt to the needs of athletes
