Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Manager at our Newark, DE location. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for supporting store operations, achieving sales targets, coaching and developing team members, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Responsibilities also include inventory management, visual merchandising, and fostering a positive team culture that aligns with ALDO’s values. This role requires collaboration with the store manager to implement business strategies and maintain high operational standards. Qualifications Leadership and team management skills, with experience in coaching and developing team membersProficiency in sales techniques, customer engagement, and achieving performance targetsUnderstanding of inventory management, visual merchandising, and retail operational processesStrong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilitiesAbility to build and foster a positive, inclusive, and productive work environmentExperience in the retail industry is highly desirableFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidaysHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in business or related fields are a plus
