We do that through a strong culture of innovation and an unwavering focus on delivering the best to our clients.\nWe are seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to fill a key position on our Operations team, as a Material Handler at our Glenwillow, OH facility.\nAs a Material Handler, you'll be responsible for operating a stock picker (cherry picker) and/or a reach truck forklift to move bulk products into staging and/or forward pick locations. In this position, you will be wearing a safety harness and going up to 40 feet in the air while pulling product out of a bulk rack. In this position you will use RF devices to complete inventory movements.\nWhat you'll be doing:\nSafe and proficient operation of material handling equipment (primarily a stock picker/cherry picker)\nConsistently going up to 40 feet in the air while wearing a harness to pick product out of a rack\nUtilizing RF devices to pull inventory and replenish pick faces\nInspecting products as they are pulled to ensure quality and accuracy\nReporting and documenting any damaged product not suitable for shipping\nStaging products for our club assembly line\nNotifying supervisors of any mechanical or material issues\nUtilizing safety equipment and observing all safety rules and practices\nMaintaining a clean, neat, and orderly work area\nOther duties as assigned\nWho you are:\n\nCandidates must possess highly developed sense of empathy, with a focus on ensuring the best experience for our partners, clients, and the end-consumer.\n\nAt least 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or distribution center\nExperience with RF devices\nExperience working in a fast-paced production driven environment\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nAttention to detail\nAbility to work a flexible schedule\nAbility to lift heavy objects, 50+ pounds\nWine industry experience is a plus\nAble to work weekends and overtime as needed\nReliable transportation\nWhy WineDirect?\nYou will have the ability to transform the wine industry by facilitating wineries ability to sell their products globally\nYou'll get to work with and support a stellar group of people who work together to care for our clients and their customers\nYou'll be empowered to make decisions, both to get the job done and to further your career\nWe have a competitive compensation package including medical, dental and vision coverage as well as Life, Long Term Disability and AD&D at no cost to the employee and a matching 401(k) plan.\nRecognized as a 2023 Top Workplace.
