Position Summary Acuren is currently recruiting for QA/QC to support our operations in Austin, TX. the Quality Assurance and Quality Control Reviews all field reports from technician prior to submitting to clients. Uses superior analytical, and critical thinking skills to ensure that all client Pipeline Integrity Procedures have been adhered to and that all client specific reporting requirements have been met prior to final report submission to the client. ResponsibilitiesReview reports and data from technicians and inspector for accuracy and complianceTasks may be client specificGenerating quality metrics for reportingUtilize customer rating systems to assign valuesUtilize progress tracking systems (internal and external) to provide up to date status of reportsTechnical support for Creaform systemProvide hardware and software assistance with Creaform laserPerform data analysis from the Creaform laser for external corrosion and deformationAssist customer's operations procedures questions Other work duties as assigned. Requirements The position requires sound knowledge and understanding in the following areas: Knowledge of NDT industry methods (MT, PT, UT)Knowledge of client specific reporting needsKnowledge of inline inspection data (tool data tat runs through pipelines) is a plusCoating and cathodic protection is a plus The position requires the following skills and abilities: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Industry software (e.g. Creaform Pipecheck)Technical writing skillsEffective verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail to identify numerical and visual anomalies EDUCATION: The position requires high school diploma or equivalent as well as a minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality review capacity. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
