Doing data engineering in a distributed computing environmentAll work in this team is going to be AWS cloud-based (not working on on-prem)Working with AWS clusters, Cloud Formation, Elastic storage, Redshift, Databricks, etc.What are the top must-have technologies/required experience for the position?1. Cloud (AWS highly preferred w/ Redshift & Databricks)2. Python or Java3. PySpark OR Apache Spark4. Generic SQL (SQL Server and PostGres experience preferred)Preferred qualifications: Redshift (if they don’t have this some experience with other system like Teradata, Hxadata, etc. would be helpful)SnowflakeDatabricksData ModelingActiveBatch (alternatively another workflow mgmt. tool such as Adflow)Required Skills: 5+ years of Data Engineering Experience in Cloud environment AWS environment preferred Should be very proficient in Spark/Pyspark- building data pipelines from scratch. Should be experienced with either Redshift or Snowflake Data Warehouse design and build (not snowflake schema) Experience with data bricks a major plusBasic Qualification: local to Atlanta or willing to relocate willingness to convert to FTE after 6 months.Additional Skills: local to Atlanta or willing to relocate willingness to convert to FTE after 6 months.Long term opportunity with a flexible work schedule and long term growth opportunity.
