This position's duties include classroom and topic preparation, delivery of classes including demonstrating with teaching aids, and completing required administrative paperwork. The instructor is expected to maintain their technical competence and skills and will report to the Training Manager.\nQualifications of the Role\nBachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.\nThree years of experience in operation, maintenance, design, construction, or regulation of water utility systems.\nMust have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.\nTexas Class \"B\" Water License; or Texas Class \"B\" Wastewater License.\nTCEQ Sponsor Requirements\nOne year of experience in training adults and one of the following:\n60 hours of classroom instructional experience.\nCompletion of approved Instructor training courses in Methods of Teaching.\nCompletion of approved Instructor training courses in Effective Instructional Techniques and Instructional Design and Evaluation.\nCompletion of approved Instructor training courses in Organizational and Use of Training Materials.\nEquivalency: Will consider an associate’s degree and five years of experience in operation, maintenance, design, construction, or regulation of water utility systems or a high school diploma or GED with and seven years of experience in operation, maintenance, design, construction, or regulation of water utility systems.
