Bioinformatics Scientist

A company is looking for a Bioinformatics Scientist to analyze biological data and develop computational models. Key Responsibilities: Develop and employ computational tools to analyze biological data Interpret data such as gene or protein expression patterns and genetic interactions Build scalable cloud and HPC solutions for NGS data analysis Required Qualifications: Degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field preferred Minimum of five years' experience in next generation sequencing (NGS) data analysis Excellent programming skills in Python and R, with experience in SQL databases and Unix Experience with bioinformatics tools such as BWA, SamTools, and GATK Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced working environment
