In addition, the Applications Engineer supports the outside sales team with technical consultation and equipment sizing to develop large custom industrial equipment projects.\nRoles & Responsibilities:\nReview customer RFQs and specifications to identify appropriate product offerings to meet the customers goals\nIdentify areas where LDX Solutions competitive advantages can be highlighted, either through our existing products or alternate arrangements\nPreparation of technical proposals for all Air Pollution Control products, including Fabric Filters, Baghouses, Circulating Dry Scrubbers, Wet ESPs, and Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers.\nPerform process engineering and equipment sizing calculations to ensure the appropriate sizing and specification for LDX equipment being offered as part of the proposal.\nGenerate bills of material, estimates, technical datasheets, P&IDs, project schedule and other proposal documents that support the clients needs while adhering to LDX Solutions pricing and proposal guidelines\nWork with our vendors and suppliers to get cost estimates for the planned equipment\nTechnical correspondence with Clients to help in clarifying the customers intent of a RFQ package\nWork with the Design Engineers to get general arrangement drawings created\nProduce for submittal prior to the RFP deadline an accurate, all inclusive, high-quality proposal that encompasses all project requirements\nTravel with Sales Managers as required to customer sites to provide technical support for pre-bid meetings and proposal presentations\nSkills & Abilities:\nProficiency with Microsoft Office suite\nAdvanced technical aptitude and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate via all mediums, internally and externally\nAbility to prioritize multiple projects at once and meet aggressive deadlines\nDesire to work in a fast paced, growth-oriented environment\nDetail-oriented with strong time management and organization skills\nAbility to apply engineering and business principles and practices in day-to-day decision making\nSelf-motivated individual with a desire to learn and grow in a professional environment\nQualifications:\nBachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering\nMinimum 5 years experience in the design of heavy industrial equipment.\nPrior experience in design and cost estimating of industrial process equipment\nPrior experience with sizing and design of Air Pollution Control equipment strongly preferred\nTravel: Up to 15%","company":"Ldx Solutions","rawCompany":"ldx solutions","city":"Kennesaw","state":"GA","isRemote":false,"isActive":false,"createdAt":"2026-04-12T20:29:39.681Z","occupations":[{"code":"17-2199.00","title":"Engineers, All Other","slug":"engineers-all-other"},{"code":"41-9031.00","title":"Sales Engineers","slug":"sales-engineers"},{"code":"17-2081.00","title":"Environmental Engineers","slug":"environmental-engineers"}],"industries":[{"code":"541330","title":"Engineering Services","slug":"engineering-services"},{"code":"333998","title":"All Other Miscellaneous General Purpose Machinery Manufacturing","slug":"all-other-miscellaneous-general-purpose-machinery-manufacturing"},{"code":"333248","title":"All Other Industrial Machinery Manufacturing","slug":"all-other-industrial-machinery-manufacturing"}],"jobPosting":{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"JobPosting","title":"APPLICATION ENGINEER","description":"At LDX Solutions, we pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and innovation.
