Role :: Cloud Data EngineerDuration :: 12 Months (contract)Location :: Columbus, OH 43215Description:Create, Update and Manage mapping documentation from legacy system to new systemConduct code reviews and provide feedback to development teamTrouble shoot ETL failures and suggest solutionsSupport planning development work in multi workstream projectSupport data warehouse migration from on prem to cloudAttention to detail.Strong written & verbal skillsSuccessful applicant must have experience documenting requirementsSuccessful applicant must have experience mapping data across systemsSuccessful applicant must have demonstrated technical leadership on data teamthis person will do less development and spend more time support, enabling and coordinating but they still need a very strong technical background.This position requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, and 5+ years of relevant employment experience.2+ years of work experience with ETL and Data Modelling on AWS Cloud Databases.Expert-level skills in writing and optimizing SQL.Experience operating very large data warehouses or data lakes.3+ years SQL Server.3+ years of Informatica or similar technology.Knowledge of Financial Services industry.Skills/Certifications/Technology (required): • ETL• Informatica• SQL Server• data modellingPreferred qualifications:· 5+ years of work experience with ETL and Data modelling on AWS Cloud Databases.· Experience migrating on-premises data processing to AWS Cloud."Nice to Have: • Informatica IDMC• Snowflake• SQL Server• Experience supporting automotive Financial Services data
