Quality Assurance Specialist

Purpose of Position Our Quality Assurance Specialist will help our Quality Control Manager and Assistant Manager with pre-shipment review and document record review. Key Responsibilities · Pre-shipment record review · Finished Product releases. · Quality Control Daily records review · Maintain Record Reviews and make them available during Audits. · New products supporting data collection and statistics · Help with the Quality Assurance team as needed, preparing audits, calibrations. · Maintain relation with client/customer in relation to specifications and documents · Cross collaboration with R&D on updating recipes and formulas · Help with customer complaint investigations · Support new project implementations · Other job-related duties as assigned. Key Skills and Experience Experience: 1-2 years of experience in Quality Assurance of food manufacturing Certification(s): HACCP and BRC Other Requirements include Basic principles of microbiology and biochemistry, organic and inorganic chemistry Technology Experience: Shall be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint systems, JDE and Outlook Multi-task and leadership skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Team player and organized Mathematical aptitude with analytical proficiency Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
