Care Supervisor","description":"Position Description:\n\nAbout the Role\nDACUT Cannabis is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Clone Care Supervisor to oversee the daily care, health, and maintenance of clones within our Flint cultivation facility.\n\nThis role is responsible for supervising clone care activities, maintaining strong rooting success rates, monitoring environmental conditions, and ensuring all propagation areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with company SOPs.\n\nThe ideal candidate is hands-on, highly observant, and capable of leading a team while maintaining consistency across a high-volume propagation operation.\n\nEssential Responsibilities\nClone Care & Propagation\nOversee daily clone care, including watering, moisture management, dome management, and plant health inspections.\nMonitor rooting progress and ensure clones are developing consistently according to production timelines.\nIdentify clones showing signs of stress, disease, pests, or poor root development.\nEnsure proper handling and movement of clones throughout the propagation process.\nSupport preparation of clones for transition into vegetative production.\nTeam Leadership\nSupervise and provide daily direction to Clone Technicians and Propagation staff.\nAssign tasks and monitor team productivity and quality.\nTrain employees on cloning procedures, sanitation standards, and plant care SOPs.\nProvide coaching and feedback to improve consistency and performance.\nMaintain accountability for daily propagation goals.\nEnvironmental Monitoring\nMonitor temperature, humidity, lighting, airflow, and moisture levels within propagation areas.\nEnsure environmental conditions remain within established parameters.\nCommunicate environmental concerns to cultivation leadership and maintenance teams.\nAssist with troubleshooting issues that may impact clone health or rooting success.\nPlant Health & IPM\nConduct routine inspections for pests, diseases, deficiencies, and other plant health concerns.\nFollow and enforce Integrated Pest Management (IPM) procedures.\nCommunicate plant health concerns immediately to cultivation leadership.\nMaintain proper sanitation practices to reduce contamination and pest pressure.\nInventory & Documentation\nMaintain accurate clone counts, batch information, and propagation records.\nAssist with plant tracking and internal inventory documentation.\nEnsure plant movements and production activities are recorded accurately.\nSupport audits and inventory reconciliation as needed.\nFacility Cleanliness & Compliance\nMaintain clean, organized, and sanitary propagation rooms.\nEnsure trays, domes, tools, workstations, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized.\nFollow all company SOPs and Michigan cannabis compliance requirements.\nEnsure team members follow PPE and workplace safety procedures.\nQualifications\nRequired\n2+ years of cannabis cultivation or propagation experience.\nPrevious leadership, lead, or supervisory experience preferred.\nStrong understanding of clone care and propagation practices.\nAbility to identify common plant health issues.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nAbility to follow and enforce SOPs.\nReliable attendance and strong communication skills.\nMust be at least 21 years of age.\nPreferred\nExperience supervising a high-volume commercial cannabis propagation operation.\nStrong knowledge of cloning techniques and environmental controls.\nFamiliarity with IPM practices.\nExperience maintaining propagation production records and plant inventory.\nMETRC experience is a plus.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods.\nAbility to bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and perform repetitive movements.\nAbility to perform detailed plant care using hands and small tools.\nAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to work in warm,
