This is a crucial role in supporting the company's growth into regulated industries.What You Will DoBuild and integrate technical security features and controls into our web application and internal administration platformsImplement and maintain AWS security controls, including IAM, encryption, backups, logging, monitoring, and alertingSecurely orchestrate customer jobs and data across cloud and HPC environmentsBuild and respond to alerts from security logs covering both cloud and on-premises hardwareDeploy and manage vulnerability scanning tooling; collaborate with developers to triage and remediate findingsFix and validate remediations of penetration test findingsHarden and secure on-premises HPC infrastructureMaintain and improve compliance tooling integrations, identify gaps, and drive remediation effortsRequirementsStrong hands-on engineering experience in at least one of:Backend software engineeringDevOps / Infrastructure engineeringSecurity engineering, with a focus on building than maintenanceExperience securing cloud environments, ideally AWSFamiliarity with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform)Experience deploying or working with CI/CD pipelinesWorking knowledge of application and infrastructure security fundamentalsMust be a US Citizen or Green Card HolderWhat We're Looking ForWe are looking for backend software engineers, devops engineers, or security engineers, as long as you are hands on and are interested in security.
