We serve customers in industries spanning aerospace and defense, specialized vehicles, turf care, and fuel systems.\r\nThis role is in Textron System's Air Systems business area.\r\nAbout This RoleWe believe people should love what they do in this role, you will be responsible for:\r\nReceiving, storing, disbursing, and accounting for all material controlled by manufacturing storerooms.\r\nDisbursing material or parts to internal customers requesting storeroom transactions.\r\nVerifying parts or material and amounts against information on the purchase or manufacturing orders, checking for required inspection stamps, and checking for correct finish on parts.\r\nEnsuring parts/material is properly identified and packaged.\r\nLocating parts/material in proper bin in accordance with manufacturing procedures.\r\nMaintaining records of materials received, disbursed, and on hand.\r\nEnsuring inventory accuracy and record integrity through cycle counting and auditing of all physical inventories and monitoring all inventory transactions and records.\r\nResolving storeroom discrepancies.\r\nMoving material by hand, truck, or conveyor within assigned storage area.\r\nTransporting material between work centers.\r\nPracticing good safety habits and maintaining good housekeeping.\r\nPerforming other clerical or material handling duties as required.\r\nOther duties as assigned.\r\nQualificationsKnowledge of manufacturing policies and procedures. Knowledge of production and inventory control systems. Written and oral communication skills which support cooperation with manufacturing personnel and support organizations. Basic personal computer skills. (e.g., word processing and spreadsheets). Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to understand and interpret prints, bills of material, and parts lists. Ability to work with measuring instruments. Ability to work from verbal instructions. Ability to operate material handling equipment. Ability to work well with others. This position is subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions. This position is subject to noise. This position may require the ability to lift materials up to 50 lbs.
