Engineer","description":"Job Title : Manufacturing Engineer\nLocation : Pontiac, IL( Onsite )\nDuration : Full Time\nJob Description\nThe main function of a manufacturing engineer is to apply engineering theory and principles to problems of industrial layout or manufacturing production.\nA typical manufacturing engineer has the ability to make engineering drawings, and read and interpret blueprints.\nJob Responsibilities:\nStudy time, motion, methods, and speed involved in maintenance, production, and other operations to establish standard production rate and improve efficiency.\nReview worker logs, product processing sheets, and specification sheets, to verify that records adhere to quality assurance specifications.\nReview and approve work assignments in accordance with worker performance, machine capacity, production schedules, and anticipated delays.\nReview charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization.\nEvaluate data and reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.\nRecommend modifications to existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.\nRecommend revision to methods of operation, material handling, equipment layout, or other changes to increase production or improve standards.\nSkills:\nCreativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability.\nTeam player and detail oriented.\nDisplays attributes of a critical thinker and leverages innovative ideas.\nStrong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.\nExpert ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations.\nExpert ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports.\nPrevious experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD).\nEducation/Experience:\nBachelor's degree in engineering required.\n10+ years’ experience required.\nTechnical
