We're looking for an organized and enthusiastic individual with a self-starter disposition interested in all aspects of drama production & operations to support the School of Drama's programs at 151 Bank Street . This is an ideal position for students who are interested in a career in non-profit, performing arts, or higher education administration..\r\nRESPONSIBILITIES\r\nSupport daily operations within the School of Drama and Production programs with scheduling, paperwork, database upkeep, and general organizational/operational tasks\r\nStation Bank Street's Welcome Hub in Room 102 to answer student, faculty and visitor questions\r\nAssist with faculty copy/IT needs, mail distribution, stocking supplies, program printing, special events, and mainstage marketing support.\r\nGenerate information and update College of Performing Arts Calendar; Post monthly on Call Board\r\nSupport needs for classes / small projects\r\nManage supply orders and restocking (tape, first aid, etc.)\r\nCreate and circulate materials for the Arts Letters\r\nMaintain photo archives, scripts and production books\r\nMaintain physical supplies in Bank Street as requested\r\nAdditional responsibilities as assigned\r\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\r\nAbility to commit to a consistent weekly schedule.\r\nExcellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and group and independent problem solving skills\r\nWorking knowledge of Google Suite: Drive, Calendar, etc\r\nGeneral knowledge of theater practices and protocols\r\nCommitment to diversity and inclusion\r\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\r\nCurrent student in a College of Performing Arts degree program\r\nAt least one semester at The New School/other university or equivalent professional experience.\r\nInterest in operations and production, administration, and/or creative technologies.\r\nCurrent student enrolled in a College of Performing Arts program\r\nRecipient of a Federal Work Study award.\r\nWORK MODE\r\nOn-Campus Position - Employees in this position are expected to work on-campus during regularly scheduled work hours due to the nature of the work being that which is not feasible, or not in the best interest of the organization, to be performed remotely. #LI-DNI\r\nHourly Rate: Hourly Rate: $17.00\r\nHours per Week: up to 10-20 on average\r\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate in hiring or employment on the basis of race, color, creed, religion or belief, national or ethnic origin, citizenship status, marital or domestic partnership status, sexual orientation, sex, gender identity or expression, age, disability, military or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.
