Our work spans residential and commercial projects across the U.S., and we pride ourselves on delivering thoughtful, well-executed designs from concept to installation.About the RoleWe are seeking a highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented Design Assistant to support our growing design team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the creative and operational sides of interior design and is excited to contribute across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.This position will primarily support the design team through space planning, sourcing, design presentations, and project coordination. This role will on occasion assist the senior project manager with project management, installations, and brand/social media support.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign Team SupportAssist with interior design concepts, mood boards, and client presentationsCreate and revise floor plans, layouts, and design drawingsSource furniture, materials, lighting, fixtures, and finishesSupport the design team with renderings, sample organization, and design documentationMaintain project design files, specifications, and schedulesResearch vendors, products, and materialsMaintain an up to date materials libraryAttend site walkthrough meetings to take notes Occasional Project & Installation SupportAssist Senior PM with purchasing and order tracking as needed Help coordinate shipping, receiving, and delivery logisticsSupport installation preparation and occasional on-site project needs (light travel may be required)Assist with vendor communication and project organizationHelp maintain pricing, lead times, and procurement recordsAdditional Administrative SupportAssist with capturing project content for Instagram and marketing purposesHelp maintain organized marketing and presentation materialsSupport occasional administrative tasks that help keep projects moving efficientlyQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field preferred1–2 years of interior design or related experience preferredProficiency in SketchUp requiredStrong organizational and multitasking skillsExcellent communication and presentation abilitiesStrong eye for aesthetics, materials, and spatial designAbility to work independently and proactively problem-solveComfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentPositive attitude and willingness to jump in where neededWho Will Thrive in This RoleSomeone who enjoys balancing creativity with organizationA self-starter who takes initiative without needing constant directionSomeone excited to learn and grow within a boutique design firmA team player who is flexible, dependable, and detail-orientedSomeone who enjoys being involved in all phases of the design process
