This includes configuring firewall rules, VPNs, and security appliances, as well as conducting regular reviews and updates to maintain optimal performance and security. You will also troubleshoot firewall issues, collaborate with IT security teams to enforce security policies, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Additionally, you will document configurations and generate reports on firewall performance and security incidents.\nWHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO\nDesign and implement firewall solutions that align with our clients' security policies and regulatory requirements.\nConfigure firewall rules, VPNs, and other security appliances to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.\nConduct regular reviews and updates of firewall configurations to ensure optimal performance and security.\nProvide assistance in reviewing firewall logs and network traffic for suspicious activity or security breaches.\nPerform routine maintenance and updates to firewall hardware and software.\nTroubleshoot and resolve firewall-related issues promptly to minimize customer's downtime and impact on business operations.\nCollaborate with the VLCM's and customer's IT security teams to develop, implement, and enforce security policies and procedures.\nEnsure that firewall configurations comply with industry best practices and regulatory standards.\nConduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.\nRespond to security incidents and breaches, including analyzing firewall logs, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.\nParticipate in incident response drills and contribute to the development of incident response plans.\nCreate detailed documentation of firewall configurations, changes, and incidents.\nGenerate regular reports on firewall performance, security incidents, and compliance status for management review.\nWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
