In 2021, Igloo was acquired by Dometic Brands and now there is the opportunity to Globally grow both brands together.\nWe are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Process Technician – Blow mold\nThis role will support blow mold manufacturing department, attending daily critical machine, support mold set-up team, material and resin team.\nEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities:\nProvides support to production to improve process and metrics.\nAttends Critical machine daily and auxiliary equipment.\nPerforms foam fixture startup, troubleshoots, and maintains during production.\nTroubleshoots problems with blow mold and peripheral equipment and takes corrective actions.\nFollows Lockdown Process Sheets, Procedures, Visual aids, and Instructions.\nWorks closely with Production Supervisors and Operations personnel to achieve and maintain departmental goals.\nMaintains and improves safety and quality (safety devices, guarding equipment, and troubleshooting protocol.\nPrepare reports and data collection as directed by immediate supervisor.\nOperates forklifts and cranes to replace molds, if a setup support is needed.\nStarts/shuts down machines, Responsible for machine adjustments.\nWorks with process engineers when having problems on trouble shooting learning from them.\nWorking on First piece inspection paperwork (FPI), once starting up, color change or any machine down for more than 8 hrs period, to assure produce parts according to specifications.\nEnsures safe working practices are followed and all accidents, hazards, near misses, and property damage are reported in a timely manner.\nEnsure work area(s) are maintained in a clean and organized manner.\nOther duties as assigned.\nWhat do we offer?\nYou are offered an interesting role in a dynamic, fast paced and global environment with great opportunities to grow and take on new challenges. The growth at Dometic is continuous – which gives you great possibilities to evolve with the company.\nMedical\nDental\nVision\nLife Insurance\nShort term & Long-term disability\nAccidental death insurance\nSupplemental life insurance\nCompany paid holidays\nFlexible Spending Accounts\nMinimum Requirements and Qualifications\nA suitable background would be a solid experience within the following qualifications and experiences:\nEducation: High School Diploma or equivalency.\nExperience: Minimum 2 years in plastics manufacturing, mold set-up, or continuous extrusion Blow Mold (HEAD ACCUMULATORS) .\nKnowledge of Thermolators, grinders, blenders, and liquid additive pumps, mechanical tools (wrenches, Allen, dies, pneumatic tools), and Hydraulic basics.\nExperience working on Graham, Sterling, Milacron Blow Mold machines, B30’s Blow Mold head accumulators’ machines.\nFlexibility to working multiple shifts and weekends\nEnglish Language Skills: Able to read, write, speak and comprehend English.\nMath Skills: Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.\nTo be successful in this role, we believe that you possess the following skills, competencies & characteristics:\nBilingual (English/Spanish)\nContinuous extrusion Blow Mold Experience\nPlastic Experience\nMaterial Handling experience\nSetup experience (Mold & Tooling changes)\nData Entry and Computer skills\nStanding & Walking\nRoles may involve extended periods (up to 12 hours) of standing and walking, including moving at a brisk pace and occasional stair climbing.\nPostural Requirements\nFrequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and working in low or awkward positions during production or maintenance tasks.\nLifting & Material Handling\nOperator-level roles may involve lifting up to 25 lb repeatedly throughout the shift.\nTechnician-level roles may involve lifting up to 50 lb multiple times per day, including overhead lifts.\nWhere possible, mechanical aids (e.g., hoists, forklifts) are used.\nFine Motor Skills & Tool Use\nUse of both hands is required to operate tools, perform adjustments, and handle assembly materials with precision.\nVisual Requirements\nSufficient visual acuity (e.g., 20/40 with or without correction) is necessary for tasks involving inspection and safe equipment operation.\nEnvironmental Conditions\nWork is performed in a production setting where seasonal temperatures may range from 100–120°F (with humidity) in summer to cooler conditions in winter.\nHigh noise levels are common; hearing protection is provided and required.\nPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as ear protection, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, gloves, and protective clothing may be required depending on the task.\nAdditional Job Considerations\nThese roles can be physically demanding, involving repetitive motions and long hours.
