The role is also accountable for meeting and exceeding company-wide expectations in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, attendance, and attitude/teamwork.\n\nConnected Development (https://www.connecteddev.com/) is a specialist in the electronic component distribution and design engineering services industries. This position will be onsite in Auburn Hills, MI.\n\nACCOUNTABILITIES\n\nPerform assembly, testing, and inspection, of products, subassemblies, and prototypes.\n\nOperate equipment, tools, and test systems safely and effectively.\n\nSupport prototype builds, pilot production runs, and new product introductions.\n\nDocument test results, process observations, and production data accurately.\n\nIdentify and report nonconforming materials, products, and process deviations.\n\nAssist Engineering and Quality teams with root cause investigations and corrective actions.\n\nMaintain an organized and safe work environment.\n\nAdditional duties as assigned.\n\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE\n\nHigh school diploma or GED required; some additional course work in a related technical field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nSKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS\n\nAbility to read engineering drawings, schematics, bills of material, and work instructions.\nFamiliarity with assembly processes and quality inspection methods.\nProficiency with hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and test equipment.\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills.\nSafely work around ESD sensitive devices.\nDetail oriented, with a firm understanding and execution of QC standards.\nMust be responsible and reliable.\nSelf-motivated and able to work independently.\nMust be able to carefully follow instructions.\nWhile unassisted: bend, sit, kneel, and squat, balance, twist and turn, reach over one's shoulders, walk and stand continuously for extended periods of time.\nAbility to lift to shoulder height and carry up to 30 lbs.\nAbility to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.\nAbility to move throughout assembly and laboratory areas.\n\nWhat we offer our team members:\n\nA great benefits package that includes (but is not limited to): Medical/ Dental/ Vision, 401(k)/Roth plan with matching, Healthcare Savings Accounts.\nEducational Assistance (Tuition Reimbursement).\nOngoing training throughout your employment with opportunities to participate in professional and personal development programs.\nA strong focus on giving back to our communities through philanthropic opportunities.\nGreat culture and opportunities for growth and advancement.\n\nThis is a summary of the accountabilities and requirements that are essential for this position.
