Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and optimize manufacturing processes for pneumatic components and assemblies to improve efficiency and qualityDraft/implement written procedures to outline manufacturing or assembly stepsImplement process fixturing to facilitate manufacturing or assembly stepsAnalyze production data (cycle time, scrap, downtime) and implement process improvementsLead process-based investigations and corrective actions associated with Nonconforming reports (NCRs) and/or Return Material Authorization (RMAs)Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologiesSupport new product introduction (NPI), including process design, tooling, and validationCollaborate with design engineering to ensure manufacturability (DFM) of pneumatic productsImplement and improve automated assembly, testing systems, and process controlsConduct root cause analysis and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards (e.g., ISMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)5+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably with mechanical or pneumatic productsDemonstrated experience with assembly processes, machining operations (CNC), and precision componentsGeneral understanding of sealing methods (O-rings, gaskets), and leak preventionFamiliarity with pressure and flow testing methods and equipmentStrong mechanical aptitudeDetail orientedAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced production environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience in pneumatic or fluid power manufacturing industrySix Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certificationKnowledge of ISO-9001 or similar quality standardsFamiliarity with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for tooling and fixture designExperience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.Master's degree in Engineering a plus Benefits Fabco-Air offers a robust benefits package, which is designed to help employees and their dependents stay healthy, feel secure and maintain a work/life balance.
