Our operations rely on secure, compliant, and high-performing IT infrastructure.Position OverviewA hands-on IT Systems Support Specialist with experience in Microsoft Server/ Endpoint environments, network administration, Microsoft CIS Benchmark Security practice, and CMMC compliance enforcement. This role is critical in supporting daily IT operations, maintaining secure systems, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards.You will work closely with IT manager, and internal teams to support infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and help maintain a positive, secure, and efficient IT environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day IT systems support across the organization with minimal down-timeManage and support Microsoft Server environments (Active Directory, Windows Server, user security access, NTFS permissions, GPOs, etc.)Assist with network administration including troubleshooting connectivity, switches, firewalls, MFA, and VPNsSupport and help maintain both Microsoft CIS Benchmark Security best practices, and CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) compliance requirementsMonitor system performance, security, and uptime across infrastructureTroubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in a timely mannerAssist with system upgrades, patches, backups, and backup recoveriesMaintain accurate documentation of systems, processes, and incidentsSupport end users with technical issues and provide excellent customer serviceCollaborate with leadership on IT improvements and security initiativesJob RequirementsDetails:Qualifications5+ years of experience in IT systems support or network administrationStrong experience with Microsoft Server environments (Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Powershell)Working knowledge of network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, switches, firewalls, MFA, VPNs)Experience with or exposure to CMMC / NIST 800-171 compliance is highly preferredStrong ethical troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExperience in manufacturing or industrial environments is a plusAbility to communicate well with your department, having a positive attitude, work independently, manage multiple priorities, and help the IT department stay proactiveSkills & AttributesHave a positive attitudeStrong communication skills (both technical and non-technical)Organized with excellent documentation habitsProactive, detail-oriented, and solution-drivenTeam player with a customer-service mindsetAdaptable/ Acceptable to changes, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environmentWork EnvironmentOnsite/ Offsite role supporting a large aerospace manufacturing facilityCombination of desk work and hands-on technical supportOccasional off-hours or weekend work as needed for upgrades, Shop floor support coverage, or issue resolution
