This role will require collaboration with cross‑functional teams, customers, and vendors to ensure the successful delivery of small satellite missions that meet the company’s strategic objectives.\nKey Responsibilities Provide leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from concept design to delivery to the launch service provider.\nDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.\nCoordinate project teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment across engineering, production, integration, software, and other relevant departments.\nMonitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to address issues and risks.\nAct as the primary point of contact for customers.\nCommunicate project status, updates, and risks to senior management and stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.\nConduct customer meetings and reviews in support of decision‑making processes and alignment, and support for project goals.\nCollaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and optimize satellite design and performance.\nSupport regulatory agency application processes.\nIdentify, assess, and manage program risks, developing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.\nSupport business development efforts with estimated project budgets, schedules, risk assessment, and resource predictions.\nSecure necessary resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to support project execution.\nQualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering (aerospace, mechanical, electrical, software, or related field).\n5+ years of experience in a technical role, with a focus on small satellite missions.\nUnderstanding of end‑to‑end satellite programs from award to launch.\nKnowledge of spacecraft assembly, integration, and test activities.\nStrong problem‑solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions.\nExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.\nDesired Skills Strong project management skills, including experience with project management tools and methodologies.\nExcellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross‑functional teams.\nKnowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to satellite systems and space missions.\nAdditional Considerations Ability to travel as needed to support project activities, including meetings with customers, partners, and regulatory agencies.\nEligibility to work on USG projects and obtain any necessary security clearances.\nProject Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a bonus.\nPosition Levels, Experience, & Salary Range Deputy PM: 0‑2 years of PM Experience, 5‑10 years Overall Experience, Salary Range $100k‑$130k\nProgram Manager: 2‑5 years of PM Experience, 8‑15 years Overall Experience, Salary Range $120k‑$160k\nPM Senior: 5+ years of PM Experience, 10+ years Overall Experience, Salary Range $150k‑$200k\nAdditional Information Job Type: Full Time\nLocation: Littleton, CO (minimum 3‑4 days/week in office)\nBenefits include health, dental, and vision insurance options, 401k matching, 5 set holidays, 5 floating holidays, 5 sick days, and 15 days of PTO per year.\nExport Statement This position requires access to export‑controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services.
