Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team. The Food Runner will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires a passion for hospitality and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of food safety and guest service. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner. Assist in bussing tables and ensuring cleanliness throughout the dining area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment and presentation. Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to assist guests with inquiries. Support food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines. Provide excellent guest services by addressing any questions or concerns promptly. Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas for events or peak service times. Skills Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary standards. Experience with POS systems for order tracking is a plus. Excellent communication skills, with a focus on guest interaction and satisfaction. Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen environment. Previous experience in hospitality or hotel settings is advantageous. Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to help colleagues as needed. Familiarity with food preparation techniques is beneficial.
