Create and provide training to SCDC staff on ADA and other disability rights laws and on dealing with people with disabilities. Oversee budget for improvement of provision of accommodations, staff training and other improvements. Investigate and resolve complaints/grievances from inmates and employees relating to the ADA and similar laws. Receive, investigate, and respond to Inquiries relating to ADA issues from outside organizations. Receive and facilitate accommodations requests. Develop and maintain relationships with disability rights groups and the disability community. Train and supervise agency' records coordinator. Preferred QualificationsPrefer 5 years' experience coordinating ADA issues to be in a correctional setting and 10 years' experience in management of programs or projects.
