This includes performing complex duties under stressful conditions and taking actions to ensure safe, reliable electric system operations and to alleviate operating emergencies. This description is not all-inclusive; duties may be added or reassigned as needed.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\n\nKnowledge of electrical theory and power distribution systems\n\nDesign, construction, operation, and maintenance of the SRP Distribution System\n\nSafety procedures required to work on the SRP Distribution System\n\nSkills in the proper use of:\n\nKeyboarding\n\nVerbal and written communication of highly technical material\n\nSoftware programs used in the Distribution Operation Center (DOC)\n\nAbility to:\n\nAnalyze and diagnose problems in a logical and accurate manner in real time situations\n\nPerform moderately complex math calculations, including algebra and some trigonometry\n\nWork independently, including organizing work and making own decisions with limited supervision\n\nOther duties as assigned\n\nEmployee must work safely and efficiently in the performance of their job duties. Must maintain effective working relationships with other employees, customers, and the public. Must have the ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions, and have the ability to accurately and legibly complete applicable paperwork.
