{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"c456b632e97d581d61c5678a","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/c456b632e97d581d61c5678a","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/c456b632e97d581d61c5678a","title":"Pasteurizer","description":"Production Worker - Pasteurizer - 4084\nOverview:\nWe are seeking an experienced Production Worker III – Pasteurizer to support dairy production operations at a milk processing facility in Bellevue, WA.\nThis position is responsible for monitoring and operating dairy processing equipment, following recipes and Standard Operating Procedures, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, and ensuring efficient production.\nThe ideal candidate will have previous experience operating pasteurization or dairy processing equipment, along with experience using pallet jacks and forklifts.\nDuties:\nMonitor dairy production processes and follow SOPs for batching and processing products.\nOperate and monitor pasteurization and dairy processing equipment.\nMonitor fats, total solids, allergens, and other processing requirements.\nAnalyze process and equipment performance data to troubleshoot issues and improve quality and throughput.\nCommunicate production issues, concerns, and equipment problems to management and other departments.\nAccurately document required production and processing information.\nPerform equipment sanitation, including CIP (Clean-in-Place) and hand cleaning.\nOperate and clean equipment efficiently to maximize throughput and minimize downtime.\nFollow GMP, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements.\nMaintain food safety and food quality within the assigned production area.\nImmediately report food safety and quality issues to management.\nMaintain 5S standards and a clean, organized work area.\nFollow all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.\nPerform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nPrevious experience operating pasteurization or dairy processing equipment.\nPasteurizer License preferred.\nExperience with pallet jacks and forklifts required.\nAbility to follow recipes, measurements, SOPs, and instructions accurately.\nBasic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.\nBasic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced dairy production environment.\nMust be able to stand and walk for most of the workday.\nMust be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.\nMust be flexible to work overtime as needed.\nMust follow all safety protocols and maintain a safety-first mindset.\nPay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour\nApplication Question(s):\nHow much experience do you have operating pasteurization or dairy processing equipment?\nAre you comfortable with Nigh Shift - (10pm to 6:30am) Schedule will be Sunday through Thursday\nHow many years do you have with pallet jacks and forklift?\nThis role is 90 days temp to perm.
