As a Mid-Level Full Stack Developer, you will contribute to building and maintaining web applications, collaborating with the team to implement new features, and optimizing performance. You will work with both object-oriented and functional programming paradigms in a fully remote environment. Success in this role requires a solid understanding of Git/source control and familiarity with Gen-AI tools and their practical applications in development workflows. This position reports to the Chief Technology Officer.ResponsibilitiesContribute to building and maintaining web applications.Collaborate with the team to implement new features and optimize performance.Work with both object-oriented and functional programming paradigms in a fully remote environment.Demonstrate solid Git/source control practices and explore Gen-AI tools in development workflows.Required Qualifications4+ years of Ruby on Rails experienceStrong understanding of Git/source control systemsSolid understanding of object-oriented and functional programming paradigmsAbility to write clear technical documentationFamiliarity with Gen-AI tools and their practical applications in development workflowsPreferred KnowledgeFamiliarity with WebRTCUnderstanding of asset optimization techniquesExperience with PostgreSQL (1+ year preferred)Exposure to AWS/Kubernetes environmentsIdeal CandidateA passionate self-starter with strong time-management skillsExceptional problem-solving ability and critical thinkingCollaborative but capable of working independentlyExperience working in smaller companies or startups is a plusInterest in mentoring junior developers and growing within the companyComprehensive medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plansPTO, including vacation and company holidaysGenerous continuing education allowanceEmployee stock option planOpen, diverse, and respectful work cultureCompensation\r\nCompensation Range:$120,000 - $160,000 per year.
