DescriptionThe Best Teams are Created and Maintained Here.Head of Total RewardsReports to: Chief Human Resources OfficerOffice Location: Blue Bell, PA (on site)Division: CorporatePosition SummaryThe Head of Total Rewards is responsible for the strategic leadership, design, implementation, and administration of the company’s compensation, executive compensation, benefits, and total rewards programs. This leader will drive a competitive and performance-oriented rewards philosophy that supports business growth, attracts and retains top talent, and aligns with shareholder expectations and public company governance standards.This role serves as a key strategic advisor to executive leadership and partners closely with the CHRO, Finance, Legal, and external compensation consultants on executive compensation strategy, Board Compensation Committee materials, equity programs, and enterprise-wide compensation initiatives.The ideal candidate brings deep public company experience, including executive compensation administration, Board and Compensation Committee support, equity plan oversight, and enterprise compensation governance.Key ResponsibilitiesTotal Rewards StrategyLead the company’s enterprise-wide total rewards strategy, including compensation, executive compensation, benefits, wellness, recognition, and incentive programs.Design and administer compensation programs that support pay-for-performance philosophies, internal equity, market competitiveness, and regulatory compliance.Partner with executive leadership to align total rewards strategies with organizational and financial objectives.Executive Compensation & Board SupportSpearhead executive compensation programs, including annual incentive plans, long-term incentive plans (LTIP), equity compensation, deferred compensation, and executive benefits programs.Prepare Board of Directors and Compensation Committee materials, presentations, analyses, and recommendations.Partner with external compensation consultants on benchmarking, proxy support, executive compensation reviews, and governance matters.Support executive compensation disclosures and proxy-related activities in partnership with Legal and Finance.Provide strategic guidance on compensation risk, governance, and public company compensation practices.Equity & Incentive ProgramsOversee administration of equity compensation programs, including stock plans, vesting schedules, grants, reporting, reconciliations, and employee communications.Lead administration and governance of programs such as ESPP, deferred compensation plans, and incentive compensation structures.Ensure accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness for all equity and incentive compensation programs.Governance, Compliance & AnalyticsEnsure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local compensation and benefits regulations.Support internal and external audit activities, including SOX compliance and compensation governance reviews.Lead compensation analytics, workforce insights, and executive reporting to support strategic decision-making.Develop metrics and dashboards to measure program effectiveness and market competitiveness.Leadership & Cross-Functional PartnershipLead and develop the Total Rewards team, including compensation and benefits professionals.Partner closely with HRIS, Payroll, Finance, Talent Acquisition, and HR Business Partners on enterprise initiatives and workforce planning.Support M&A due diligence and integration activities related to compensation, benefits, and people data.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, Finance, or related field required, master’s degree preferred.10+ years of progressive compensation and total rewards leadership experience.Strong public company experience required.Demonstrated experience leading executive compensation programs and supporting Compensation Committee and Board activities.Experience preparing Board decks, executive analyses, and compensation recommendations for senior leadership.Strong knowledge of equity compensation, proxy support processes, and executive compensation governance.Experience managing broad-based compensation structures, incentive plans, and benefits strategy.Strong analytical, financial, and business acumen.Excellent executive presence and communication skills.Proven ability to influence senior leaders and operate effectively in a matrixed environment.Experience supporting M&A integrations and organizational transformation initiatives preferred.Multi-state and large workforce environment experienceBrightView Landscapes, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.BrightView offers a suite or health, wellness, and financial benefits to full-time team members.
