We aim to develop and deploy critically needed capabilities that address our customers’ most pressing national security requirements.\r\nWHAT YOU’LL DODesign and implement secure CI/CD pipelines, enabling automated build, test, and deployment of software across multiple enclaves\r\nCollaborate with software engineers to optimize the build and test processes, reduce deployment friction, and integrate security controls early in the development lifecycle\r\nWork alongside tactical software developers to identify pain points and process deficiencies and architect durable solutions\r\nBuild Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks (Terraform, Ansible, or similar) to provision and configure development, test, and production environments\r\nAutomate security compliance workflows, including STIG scanning, vulnerability assessment, configuration validation, and compliance reporting for continuous monitoring\r\nDevelop containerization and orchestration solutions (Docker, Kubernetes) tailored for classified networks with appropriate security hardening\r\nCreate monitoring and logging infrastructure to support security operations, troubleshooting, and incident response\r\nPartner with system administrators and ISSM/ISSO personnel to ensure deployed systems meet customer security requirementsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS5+ years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)\r\nStrong hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar\r\nProficiency in a variety of programming or scripting languages such as Python and Bash.\r\nUnderstanding of software engineering fundamentals: design patterns, testing, version control, and debugging\r\nFamiliarity with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar tools\r\nWorking knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)\r\nUnderstanding of Linux system administration, networking, and scripting (Python, Bash)\r\nCurrently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance, at a minimum.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience deploying and maintaining systems in classified DoD or IC environments\r\nHands‑on experience with ATO processes, STIG implementation, and continuous monitoring for accredited systems\r\nProficient in Python package development\r\nFamiliarity with SCAP‑compliant scanning tools (OpenSCAP, Nessus, ACAS) and automated compliance frameworks\r\nExperience with secure software supply chain practices, artifact signing, and software bill of materials (SBOM)\r\nKnowledge of zero‑trust architectures and microsegmentation in Kubernetes environments\r\nExperience with GitOps workflows and declarative infrastructure management\r\nProficiency with observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Splunk)\r\nUnderstanding of PKI, certificate management, and secrets management solutions (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager)\r\nExperience with air‑gapped or disconnected network deployments\r\nRelevant certifications such as Security+, CISSP, or AWS/Azure security certificationsSalary Range\r\n$191,000—$253,000 USD\r\nThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
