Radiologic Technologist (7a-7p) Pennington Gap, VALee County Community Hospital | Imaging & Diagnostic Services | Per DiemDescriptionJob Description:Summary: The Radiologic Technologist correlates and integrates radiologic aspects of care for all patients age ranging from neonate to geriatrics. Follows prescribed techniques in administering general and specific x-rays. (adjusts equipment; determines proper voltage, current, and desired exposure time distance; arranges immobilization and support devices to obtain position of patients; adjust lead shields; and selects proper detector). Interacts with radiology management system and participates in other clerical activities to ensure smooth work flow and provide documentation for the patient charge.Requirements:Associate of Science degree in Radiologic Technology and/or a graduate of Radiologic Technology Program (hospital based) recognized by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and/or completion of educational training required by the ARRT.Licenses and Certifications:Valid and active ARRT certificationAHA BLS requiredWork Requirements: Shift: Variable On Call: No Rotating Travel Required: NoLee County Community Hospital
