In this versatile role, you’ll help ensure materials and finished goods are received, stored, and shipped accurately and on time. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic, team-based environment and values precision and efficiency in their work.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nSHIPPING\nPrepare and execute daily shipping schedules\nMatch Bills of Lading, Packing Slips, and Commercial Invoices accurately\nOrganize shipping documentation and prepare kits for shipment\nSet up return shipments and quotes for Sales team\nDocument all shipments in compliance with internal procedures\nProcess small parcel shipments and understand government contracts and hazardous goods procedures\nAssemble shipping crates and containers, both wooden and cardboard\nOperate forklifts or hand trucks as needed (must be or become forklift certified)\nRECEIVING AND WAREHOUSE\nReceive incoming shipments and verify materials against packing slips\nMaintain receiving logs and inspect incoming goods\nStore materials in an orderly and safe manner following FIFO principles\nSupport inventory management and work order fulfillment\nINVENTORY CONTROL\nConduct daily cycle counts\nAlert appropriate departments when materials or supplies run low\nEnsure accurate and timely recording of inventory transactions\nGENERAL\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment\nFollow all safety protocols and wear PPE as required\nPerform other duties as assigned by Warehouse Management\nQUALIFICATIONS\nRequired\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent, or combination of relevant work\nProficiency working on computers is required for some of the inventory and shipping tasks.\nMust have a valid CA driver’s license within 3 months of hire.\nAbility to interact with all types of people and provide a high level of customer service.\nProven ability to communicate positively and clearly, listens and get clarification\nAbility to carry out detailed instructions, apply common sense, and deal with issues timely\nIdentifies and resolves problems in a timely manner. Gathers and analyzes information skillfully. Develops alternative solutions where applicable\nStrong, professional work ethic, deadline driven and quality conscious.\nPunctual and regular attendance; willingness to work OT if needed; schedules off time in advance whenever possible.
