No experience needed if interested in beginning an Apprenticeship – we will train!\nGENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nInstall low voltage copper and fiber optic cabling.\nTerminate, test copper and fiber cabling systems using certified test equipment.\nUse a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment.\nRepair and install network enabled systems such as CCTV, Access Control, AV Control Systems, Central Sound, Video Management Servers, Projectors, Screens, Interactive Displays, etc.\nAssists in keeping building common and technology spaces in a neat, orderly and safe condition.\nAccomplishes work in accordance with blueprints and specifications, national and local codes and industry standards such as TIA and BICSI.\nUpdates as-built drawings as necessary, according to department policies.\nAttend Toolbox safety meetings and demonstrate safety competency in addition to any other recommended topics such as harassment prevention, ethics, etc.\nObtain an OSHA 10 General Industry Safety and Health standards certification.\nExtended hours or weekend overtime may be available.\n\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required, depending on position.\nHigh School diploma or GED required.\nKnowledge of the Low Voltage Integration or ICT industry.\nBICSI and/or AVIXA certification desirable but not required.\nValid Driver’s License.\n\nLANGUAGE SKILLS\nMust have the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in English, cooperate, and collaborate with multiple levels of customers, employees.\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
