We strive to ensure that the items in the house reflect the interests and preferences of the individuals we support, creating a comfortable and personalized living environment.\nAs the Shift Coordinator, you ensure that the home complies with licensing indicators and safety regulations outlined in the Safety Plan. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety are crucial to our operations. You will also be responsible for submitting work orders for any areas that require assistance from the facilities department.\nQuality Assurance\nAssure that ISP goals and objectives are followed through with and that required documentation exists for each goal area.\nCommunicate effectively with the Residential Coordinator 2 and clinical department to ensure all needed support is available to each area of interest and/or need.\nEvaluate the unique support needs not included within the ISP process and utilize all resources delivered to address these needs.\nAttend all required meetings and training.\nTrack individual entitlements and expenditures using standard accounting practices.\nAssure staff decisions are based upon the individual's choice and empowerment.\nEnsuring all documentation is collected and submitted to the electronic database.\nAdministrative\nEnsure that all required documentation is completed promptly and by established guidelines.\nAs the Shift Coordinator, your responsibilities extend beyond overseeing operations, including promoting high employee morale. Your leadership and team-building skills will be crucial in cultivating a positive work environment where every team member feels valued and essential to our success.\nPositively and accurately promotes and plays a crucial part in the organization's mission, vision, and values of community, commitment, and continuous Learning.\nEnsuring and enhancing community integration for the individuals we support with a person-centered approach.\nResponsible for the outcome of the Survey and Certification Review.\nAs a Shift Coordinator, maintaining open and effective communication with DDS Service Coordinators, parents, guardians, employees, other team members, vendors, and the community is crucial. Your dedication to this aspect of your role ensures that everyone is informed and involved in the care and support of the individuals we serve, fostering a sense of community and shared responsibility.\nAll program communications need to be reported promptly to the Residential Coordinator 2\nReport any suspicion of abuse or neglect to DPPC as a mandated reporter.\nEnsure that medications are available at home and the medication ordering protocol is followed. The Medication Administration Program (MAP) policy is also being adhered to.\nAssist with any medical appointments and all necessary follow-ups.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below represent knowledge, skill, and/or ability.
