This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building solutions, solving complex business challenges, and partnering with leadership to transform data into actionable insights.\nAs both the strategic leader and primary technical resource for business intelligence, you will design, develop, and support reporting solutions, dashboards, data models, and automation tools that improve decision-making and operational efficiency across the organization. You'll work closely with firm leadership and department teams to drive data-informed strategies, optimize processes, and enhance overall business performance.\nWhat You'll Do\nBusiness Intelligence & Reporting\nDesign, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, data models, and analytics solutions that provide meaningful insights into firm performance, operational metrics, and client service delivery.\nPartner with department leaders to identify reporting needs and develop customized reporting solutions.\nServe as the firm's go-to resource for reporting support, data validation, and ad hoc analysis.\nData Analytics & Process Improvement\nAnalyze financial and operational data to identify trends, improve workflows, optimize resource allocation, and support strategic decision-making.\nApply process improvement methodologies, including Lean Six Sigma principles, to increase efficiency and effectiveness across departments.\nTranslate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.\nTechnology & Automation\nIndependently design, build, maintain, and troubleshoot dashboards, automated workflows, system integrations, and reporting solutions using Power BI, SQL-based platforms, and other analytics tools.\nIdentify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational visibility.\nSupport ongoing optimization of reporting systems and analytics infrastructure.\nStrategic Project Leadership\nLead cross-functional projects related to reporting enhancements, workflow automation, system integrations, and operational improvements.\nManage initiatives from planning and requirements gathering through implementation and user adoption.\nData Governance & Systems Ownership\nEnsure data accuracy, integrity, security, and consistency across reporting platforms and analytics initiatives.\nServe as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for business intelligence systems, reporting tools, and related data processes.\nDevelop and maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, processes, integrations, and system workflows.\nTraining & Collaboration\nCollaborate closely with operational and service-line leaders to understand business needs and deliver valuable insights.\nDevelop and deliver training programs that enhance data literacy and encourage adoption of business intelligence tools throughout the firm.\nWhat You'll Bring\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.\n5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, process improvement, or a related role.\nProven hands-on experience designing, building, maintaining, and troubleshooting dashboards, reports, and data models using Power BI, SQL-based systems, or similar analytics platforms.\nStrong proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and data visualization best practices.\nExperience leading projects and implementing process improvements that drive measurable business outcomes.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience within a professional services, consulting, or public accounting environment.\nUnderstanding of accounting, financial, and operational performance metrics.\nExperience with workflow automation and system integrations.\nLean Six Sigma certification or process improvement experience.\nWhy Join Us?\nOpportunity to shape and lead the firm's business intelligence strategy.\nHigh visibility and direct partnership with executive leadership.\nAbility to make a measurable impact on operational efficiency and business performance.\nCollaborative culture focused on innovation, continuous improvement, and professional growth.\nCompensation & Benefits\nThe total rewards package at Current includes base salary and benefits.\n\nOur salary ranges are competitive within the accounting industry and are updated regularly using the most reliable compensation survey data for our industry.
